What species of lumber do you offer?
We mill and dry poplar, red and white oak, hickory, walnut, cherry, ash, soft maple, white pine, and yellow pine. Click the link below to read more about the species we offer and their characteristics.
What thicknesses do you saw in your hardwood lumber?
The majority of what we saw in our mill is 4/4 (1"thick). However, there are some variations to this within certain specie groups. Click the link below for more information.
Do you deliver?
Depending on the load size and distance to the final destination, we do offer delivery services using our own trucks or through a third party. Click the link below to learn more about our delivery services.
Where is your timber sourced from?
Our timber is sourced within a 60-mile radius of the sawmill in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
Do you purchase timber from the public?
Yes - we do purchase timber and logs from the public. For information on this process, please contact our timber buyer at 336-984-1168.
What species of live-edge slabs do you offer?
Our slabs are available in walnut, maple, sycamore, cherry, poplar, red and white oak, ash and white pine. Click the link below to read more about the species we offer and their characteristics.
Is your lumber kiln-dried?
Yes - 99% of the lumber that we sell is kiln-dried using industry leading kiln-drying equipment and systems.
Are your live-edge slabs kiln-dried?
Yes - our slabs are air-dried 6 months - 2 years and carefully kiln-dried to a moisture content between 6-10%.
Is your lumber sold rough or surfaced?
We sell both rough and S2S lumber (no S3S or S4S available).
Do you offer kiln-drying services to the public?
No - we only dry our own product in our dry kiln facilities on site.
